I am Rolf Wilms, a self-employed Higher Safety Professional (HVK) and Occupational Hygienist , with a background in Chemical Engineering (BSc) and experience in industrial, high-tech, and laboratory environments.

After starting my career in research and development, I deliberately transitioned into the safety domain, where I have developed into an all-round QHSE professional with a strong focus on occupational hygiene and risk management.

I combine in-depth technical expertise with a pragmatic approach. My strength lies in translating complex legislation and regulations into practical, workable measures on the shop floor. In doing so, I engage both management and operations, ensuring that improvements are structurally embedded in processes and systems.

In my assignments, I focus on developing and implementing QHSE policies, conducting incident investigations, updating Risk Inventories & Evaluations (RI&E), audit coordination, and contractor management. In addition, I have specific expertise in hazardous substances, physical agents, and the analysis of workplace conditions from an occupational hygiene perspective.

As an independent professional, I integrate, bring structure, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
